Here’s a useful Facebook feature — embedded posts.
Facebook is in the process of rolling out embedded posts. I think this will be a useful feature for people that would like to highlight certain facebook posts on their website.
For example:
A client raves about your product or service on your facebook page. Perfect!!
Now that would make a great documented testimonial on your website wouldn’t it?
All you have to do is click on embed post, and facebook gives you the html code to embed into your website! Easy Peasey!
If you want to read more about it and test it out, here is the link:
https://developers.facebook.com/blog/post/2013/07/31/introducing-embedded-posts/
Right now it’s only being rolled out to Bleacher Report, CNN, Huffington Post, Mashable and PEOPLE with broader availabilty. Hopefully soon for us.
TIP: Mari Smith recommends using hashtags Plus, check out Facebook’s Embedded Posts documentation, which includes best practices for finding high quality public posts on Facebook to embed: https://
What do you think? Pretty cool right?
For all you Geekoids out there (this includes me)
If you are impatient, here is a way to embed posts before it gets rolled out.
It requires a little bit of elbow grease. The article needs to be translated to English:

Follow the steps:
UPDATE: Facebook now offer engine for automatically generating code , so you can use it – more automated and fast is
Open a Facebook post and copy its URL. This can be a simple post, this example, there: https://www.facebook.com/ivosiliev/posts/519763688094173; Could be post pictures such as this: https:// www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=521331481270727. For photo and video posts note that you should not copy the entire URL, but only the part up to the first &.
In the code of your web page insert the following:
<div id="fb-root"> </ div> <script> (function (d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName (s) [0]; if (d.getElementById (id)) return; js = d.createElement (s); js.id = id; js.src = "/ / connect.facebook.net / en_US / all.js # xfbml = 1"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore (js, fjs); } (Document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk')); </ script> <div data-href="https://www.facebook.com/"> </ div>
In the above code replace https://www.facebook.com/ the URL of the desired post. Note that if the embed-ming few posts will need to duplicate the first 8 lines (which are red) of the code above. These first 8 lines in red are charging Facebook API and it is done once, so do not duplicate the code – makes no sense. Even before I recommend to add the code in red first to verify that it is not in the web page.
This is Note that currently you can not set the window size to embed post. The dimensions of the width of 552 and a height – as its contents Hopefully soon as possible.
